The director behind a 2005 video recording with a Nicki Minaj look-a-like declaring her secret sexual relationship with Remy Ma has come forward to address the content.According to director Cliffy Barz, the woman featured on the footage was introduced to him as “Nicki from the Bronx”
Making the rumors official, Louis Vuitton launch a special mini site dedicated to its latest collaboration, this time creating alongside Parisian artist/entrepreneur Andre. The site highlights the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2010 eyewear campaign, which will feature a range of Polaroid photographs of popular tastemakers around the globe include Andre himself, Gildas Loaec, Olivier Zham and many others. Californian sunshine lights up the dreary New York winter with Diamond Supply Co. moving into to Lower East Side in the form of a pop-up shop. Diamond Supply Co. is a skateboarding apparel, gear and accessories label created by Nick Tershay a.k.a Nick Diamond back in 1988, when skating evolved from a subculture of surf to a street sport in the cities and away from the sea. Diamond Supply Co. is known for its bravado and cheeky graphics, and of course, the diamond logo which blings out the label’s products down to the “Hella Slick Wax”.
The label’s move to NYC is facilitated and housed by Lower East Side retailer, Prohibit NYC. The space opened today and will be up and running till the end of the year. Not just bringing a dose of the west coast to the city, the pop-up venture actually sports items tailored specifically for the NYC skaters. The NYC items are limited edition and includes apparel ranging from graphic tees, hoodies, pullovers, hoodies and the every-popular varsity jacket– all in a brooding New York black and white with New York specific references. One of the tees, DLNY takes a stab at the DKNY ad mural on Houston Street and tweaked it to fit Diamond Supply Co. Aside from specialty items, the label has also brought along their Holiday 2009 collection. The football world is stunned today after 26 year old Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry was reported dead.
Henry was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday after falling out of a moving truck in what authorities are calling a domestic dispute.
Henry was rushed to a North Carolina hospital after being found on a residential road with what police described as “life-threatening injuries.”
The Detroit Free Press reports that police suspect that the dispute began about a half a mile from where Henry was found after Henry proceeded to jump in to the bed of a moving truck being driven by his fiance. Police say that after Henry fell from the truck and suffered sever head trauma.
Claims are circulating that just before Henry suffered his injury the couple were out shopping for wedding rings and planning the details of their future wedding. Chris Henry’s fiance, Loleini Tonga was questioned by the police but has not been charged with any crime.
