atmos x New Balance M576 Hologram

Never one to shy away from a liberal design ethos, Japanese sneaker boutique atmos has been the benefactor of numerous collaborations over the years including many with Japanese-favorite New Balance. Despite a shift away from brighter styles over the past few seasons, atmos keeps things well… decidedly atmos with these upcoming M576 Holograms. With an upper done up in iridescent/holographic black patent leather, the whole shoe features many different colors with elements such as the logo, tongue tag, lace holes and midsole all done in different colors. The liner and insole also features a rainbow treatment with a rarely seen stylized New Balance logo on the heels. Available for pre-order with a release date set for September 11th.

Format Mag Interviews Crooked Tongues

Crooked Tongues is one of the more familiar names in sneakers based sites and are featured in the latest issue of Format Mag via an interview involving two people who run the site, Gary Warnett and Charlie Morgan.

The two discuss what sets them apart from all the other blogs and how they offer a variety of material about sneakers including an extensive store section that sell some of harder to find sneakers. Chicago DunkXchange and Skating Event in 1 Week Reminder!

The dxc will be hitting Chicago Sept 12th and 13th for two days of freshness.

September 12: The first day of the dxc will be at the Wilson Skate park from 4pm to 630pm.  This is an all age event that will allow kids and adults a like to come out and enjoy a fun skate day with prizes and free give away’s for best trick and games of s-k-a-t-e.  The Sk8 day will be presented by Activerideshop.com a long with the two best skate shops in Chicago,  Uprise and Modest.  Make sure you shoot over to the park on Friday evening for some great skating and fun times.  There will be a chance to purchase dxc pre sale tickets at the skate event for $8 bucks as well.

September 13: The next day will be the official Chicago dxc.  On the 13th of Sept.  at The Wild Hare Chicago, you will be able to trade, buy, and sell clothing and sneakers of all kinds.  The event will run from 1pm to 5pm and will be an all age event.  We have the best vendors, stores, and clothing brands in Chicago lined up for the event.  Make sure you check out all of our sponsors at the event as well as online.  Dont forget to lock the date down Sept 13th from 1pm to 5pm

Just in case you missed the earlier post on the 8th installment of the Air Jordan Countdown Pack series, we offer yet another website offering the latest package. Obama Force One By Jimm Lasser

Yesterday artist Jimm Lasser opened his exhibition in New York, with Obama being the theme of the exhibition. The Obama Force One is one of the most interesting pieces exhibited. The Air Force 1 got a make-over by the artist with graphics engraved into the outer sole.

The left shoe reads “A Black Man Runs And A Nation Is Behing Him” and the right shoe features Barack Obama himself, who is also featured on the inner sole.
