CLOT x Nike 1World Air Force 1

With Chinese New Year featured as one of 2009’s widely celebrated holidays and occasions, the Nike 1World campaign looks to Hong Kong-based CLOT to offer their style and creativity on the AF1. The Air Force 1 is themed around traditional themes of luck, happiness and prosperity. As a throwback to China’s roots, the shoe’s upper is comprised of a subtly patterned CLOT Royale red silk with visible Air unit and black highlights. However, the most interesting point of this shoe is a highly customizable factor which includes a top layer which can be removed via burning and cutting to reveal a second leather layer which also features the similar graphics as seen on the silk layer. The tear-away concept was put to use as CLOT’s own philosophy of going beyond the superficial to find deeper meanings. Keeping with the Chinese New Year theme, the shoe will come with a “Chinese Candy Box”, a traditional method of packaging treats during this monumental yearly occasion. As with previous 1World release schemes, the CLOT x Nike 1World Air Force 1 will be limited only to a Hong Kong release.

A.R.C. x Mitchell & Ness Varsity Jacket Available Online

The much anticipated A.R.C. x Mitchell & Ness varsity jackets have been released online at rivingtonclub.com. The handmade jackets come in black/white/red and black/white/purple with a multitude of details, patches and embroideries, while keeping an overall classic sports look.

Ubiq x Jun Watanabe Fatima

First announced in the most recent issue of Shoesmaster, here comes now the new Ubiq x Jun Watanabe Fatima hi top sneaker. Unlike most of the in-line product this season by Ubiq, this collaboration with artist Jun Watanabe is much more attention seeking in terms of design. The sneaker comes with a black suede base, but then takes off in all directions concerning colors, with different colors used on the lining, heel and sole, also applying a series of graphics.

The Ubiq x Jun Watanabe Fatima is now available at Flauge.

As part of the Vans Spring 2009 Fruits Collection, we present you the “Watermelon” pack. In case you were looking for footwear to match your new CLOT x Medicom x Levi’s Watermelon Denim, it looks like you are in luck.

The pack consists of the Slip-On, Era and the Chukka, all coming in watermelon red with black dots and a green/white sole. You can look out for these to release in January 2009. Via TBA.

Air Jordan Force Fusion 6 (VI) 5/8

Formerly referred to as the Air Jordan Force Fusion 6 (VI) low, we are now receiving word that these are a 5/8 cut rather than a low cut. Taking inspiration from the Air Jordan 6 (VI) low and the Nike Air Force 1 (One) low, this sneaker features the best of both worlds. Including the patented Nike Air Force 1 (One) sole, this sneaker will surely provide the comfort and support needed to go that extra mile on and off the courts. Taking key stylistic characteristics from the Air Jordan 6, this pair yields the AJ6 ankle, tongue, and halo on the heel. Two colorways of the Air Jordan Force Fusion 6 (VI) 5/8 will release in early 2009. The first of these is the one shown above which features a White / Varsity Red – Stealth colorway. A detailed picture of the second colorway of Black / Stealth – Varsity Red can be seen after the jump. Both colorways will be released on March 21, 2009 for a retail price of $135.
