Air Jordan VI Retro Black / White – Detailed Look

White/Black colorway of the Air Jordan VI Retro scheduled to release next year. With colorways also releasing in Black and Black/Red, 2010 is shaping up to be a rather big year for the classic Air Jordan sneaker, and this bold two-tone model certainly keeps the shoe’s momentum rolling. Featuring a speckled midsole/heel tab, translucent outsole, and black and white leather upper, the model is bound to turn some heads. Word has it that the colorway will hit retailers in March for around $150, but stayed tuned for more definite release details.

Available Now Air Jordan XII Retro – Black/Varsity Red

The Air Jordan XII (12) Retro in Black and Varsity Red has finally been retroed by Jordan Brand, this shoe has become synonomous with MJ’s “Flu Game” heroic performance against the Utah Jazz during the 1997 NBA Finals. Like many Jordan Brand Retro’s, this Air Jordan XII in Black and Varsity Red is not the exact same as the pair that Mike wore when he played the Jazz over a decade ago. Some of the more notable differences are the new graphics that the Jordan Brand team have placed on the shoe to honor Jordan’s performance during that game including a sick face on the shoe’s tongue as well as the year and number of points he scored near the heel of the shoe. Air Jordan Retro Card Redesigned

“Any hardcore Air Jordan collector can attest to the satisfaction of a new pair in the black box. Inside the boxes of all the retros of recent years, collectors got a retro card that identified the sneaker as well as showing photos of other classic Jordans. This card is included with the Air jordan XII Rising Sun model that will release soon. Now the retro card includes Air Jordan models I (1) through XX3 (23). Available Now|Air Jordan Spiz’ike – Winterized Boots

Jordan Brand tells us that the shoe will be waterproof in up to two inches of water. Style-wise, the shoe loses nothing at all, as the Black/Anthracite model features a monochrome design that is still striking.  Signature Spiz’ike features still abound, like an elephant pattern on the toe and heel, the lacelocks, and the signature tooling on the heel. The brown model is not so different in its use of color, but it does throw black into the mix on the sole, eyelets, and tongue. It even appears that the Mars Blackmon character on one heel has what look like snow goggles. The Dark Cinder/Black model uses premium nubuck on the upper, while the black appears to be a smooth, soft leather. These are available now, a few weeks before we may need to put on heavier coats and hoodies, at Extra Butter.

Air Jordan XII GS Black Varsity Purple Preview

Sporting a slick colorway of black and purple, this model looks like something that would be a Mike Bibby PE. We’ve seen some amazing versions of the Jordan XII (12) lately, and this model certainly will have JB fans shelling out even more money in 2010. The black suede upper is contrast-stitched with purple lines that break up the otherwise all-black upper. In lieu of the premium leather on the tongue like the flu game and rising sun models, this one opts for a slick, patent-like leather that has tonal dots throughout. The sole is a stark Varsity Purple, as is the Jumpman on the tongue. Rounding out the shoe is the black and teal pull up on the heel. Air Jordan Sixty Plus Laney High School Available Now

The Laney High school colorway has begun hitting stores worldwide. Heavily inspired by the Air Jordan V (5), the Sixty Plus features a perforated toebox, translucent outsole, Air Sole unit in the heel, and lacelock.  The Air Jordan Sixty Plus (60+) “Laney High School” is available now at select sneaker shops worldwide for $150.

Air Jordan 11 “Space Jams” Available Early

Almost exactly a month ago sneaker files showed you prime images of the very coveted Air Jordan 11 “Space Jams” coming out on Black Friday. As is common place, pairs of these Space Jams popped up on eBay for ridiculously hiked prices. However, it seems as though other online retailers will be able to answer all of our prayers for both an early opportunity to cop the 11’s and at a more reasonable, yet understandably still hiked, price.
