Alexander McQueen x Puma AMQ Trail Trainer

Alexander McQueen’s collaboration with PUMA is one of the firsts which brings a sense of high-fashion luxury and sophistication into the world of casual sneakers. The collaboration Trail Mid Trainer from McQueen and PUMA this season takes a different turn as the kicks are infused with a healthy, happy outdoor vibe rather than swanky uptown sleekness. The trainer is crafted from a “carafe” brown suede, paired with charcoal grey suede on the toes and red accents on the signature PUMA stripes and tongue. Highly reminiscent of fall and hiking boots, these trainers are kept city-friendly with a crisp white-sole. The Trail Mid Trainer is now available online at oki-ni.

700 Level Collection PUMA x UBIQ

PUMA and Philly’s own UBIQ have teamed up to give a special tribute to these legends by launching the limited edition Ubiq 700 Level Collection which will be available from Novermber 8th at UBIQ in Philly. In the collection contains two Clydes and two PUMA Mids proudly showcasing the Philly team colors in smooth leather and jersey mesh uppers. The sockliner is printed with the original stadium map along with the years of the stadium marked on each heel. Finished off with ‘Nest of Death’ laces accented by ‘700′ metal lace keeper completing the theme.

 

Puma First Round High – Repeat Part 2

Originally an all over print of one of Puma’s classic styles, the Repeat concept is back for part 2 and appears on the First Round High. For the 2nd collection, this First Round High includes a yellow on black colorway with an all over embossed silhouette of the First Round. Other details that can be found on the First Round High are a black patent leather logo stripe and heel as well as white eyelets. You can find this First Round High from the Repeat Part 2 pack now at mita along with a few more models from the collection.

Puma First Round “Chinese New Year”

Puma presents the First Round “Chinese New Year” edition. It comes with a brown suede upper. The side panels feature satin with heavy gold embroidery. Further details come in red/yellow on the heel and the tongue.

Puma First Round Polka

Following the First Rounds Puma dropped for the guys, they decided to put out some for the ladies too in a polka dot colourways. They’re now available at BNYC.

Han Cholo x Puma First Round

A few teasers of the collaboration between Puma and LA based jewelery co. Han Cholo have hit the web so far, but this (finally) is the full retail version. Metalic gold with purple, there is both a nod to a jewelery trade stock material (gold) and the home town Lakers. Chain print laces and Han Cholo name in old english script flesh out the Han Cholo brand identity on the First Round silhouette.

Exclusive to the Han Cholo shop in Echo Park, LA, the sneakers will go for $300. (via URB).

PUMA Mid x Atmos x Mitsuaki Iwago

The third shoe in the PUMA x Atmos x Mitsuaki Iwago – Endangered Species Collection, Polar Pack, is the PUMA X Atmos PUMA Mid Macaroni Penguin. The colorway of the PUMA Mid draws direct inspiration from the Macaroni Penguin of the Antarctic, which is a vulnerable beast who is facing a high risk of extinction in the wild. The most noticeable feature is the collar of the shoe that represents the Penguin’s head feathers. The shoes come with three sets of colored laces and have the Atmos “A” on the lace tips and heel.

Each shoe in the collection captures the unique characteristics of a specific animal, and features Mr. Iwago’s photography on the removable insole. The name and habitat of each animal is on the reverse tongue and the outsole in both English and Japanese. The shoes were created in hopes of bringing attention to our impact on these endangered animals.

The Polar Pack will be on sale only at Atmos NYC and Ubiq in Philadelphia beginning on June 28th, look for the Asia Pack later this summer.

Tommie Smith x Puma Collection

As not only a winner of an Olympic medal in 1968 but also as a cultural activist, American sprint Tommie Smith would gain worldwide notoriety for his Silent Gesture which would become one of the most powerful political statements in the Olympic arena. The Tommie Smith x Puma collection has been seen in varying instances but here’s a full look at the collection at the pack which features four different Suedes, each symbolizing different parts of Tommie Smith’s legendary Olympic run in ‘68. Puma x Sneaker Freaker – Blaze of Glory Shark Skin

The Puma x Sneaker Freaker collaboration has been a well documented one since the first pair was released not too long ago. Now Woody from Sneaker Freaker has teamed up with the Puma crew yet again to create a new premium and limited version of the Blaze of Glory using Shark Skin. These Shark Skin shoes are limited to 50 pairs in the world but there will be a similar Black nubuck version released at retailers across the world. PUMA x Yo! MTV Raps 2008 Part II – Suede TLP

Following the overwhelming successes of the Yo! MTV Raps franchise, PUMA is set to release part 2 of its 2008 Yo! MTV Raps collaboration as it honors the golden age of hip-hop. This second part of the 2008 PUMA x Yo! MTV Raps collection will include 2 classic PUMA model – First Round B4, which was already in circulation since last month here in the US, and Suede TLP. Each adorned with wild colorways of lime green, neon pink, intermixed with compositions of vinyl, suede, patent and perforated leather. Due out on June 28th in Japan.
