Vans Vault gives us an exclusive peek into its Nubuck Pack for Holiday 2009, which boasts three different colorways in the brand’s staple SK8-Hi silhouette. Offered are Black, Cherise, and Dragonfly versions, each pairing White midsoles with contrast stitching and detailing. Available now through select Vans Vault retailers nationwide.

The VANS Switchback is a vulcanized silhouette that features various boot characteristics such as the traditional round shoelaces that are often found on boots, the metal laceloops at the top, as well as a combination of treated leather and canvas that’s used on the upper of the shoes. The VANS Switchback can be picked up now at Dave’s Quality Meat in New York.
Knoll and Vans Vault preview a special set of its Mountain Edition Hi, featured in four different colorways. The shoes feature a primarily tonal upper made up of a thick, rich material, reminiscent of the vinyl you’ll find on your favorite LP’s, with a contrast logo panel, Black tongue/laces, Silver eyelet, and White midsoles with Black striping. A release can be expected in March/April of next year through select Vans Vault stockists.
To pay tribute to Ray’s 20 years of professional skateboarding, Vans has reissued three of his favorite shoes in the Holiday Vault Collection. Styles include the Chukka Boot ‘95 Reissue LX, the Era ‘87 Reissue LX, and the Old Skool ‘92 Reissue LX. Each shoe has been reproduced with period correct pattern work, construction, color, material, details and packaging. A release can be expected this month at select Vans Vault retailers.
Vans is KILLING it lately. So many sick releases. Loving all the “new” silhouettes which are familiar due to taking cues from popular classic models. Combined with the great materials they’ve been using and careful details they’ve been knocking shit out of the park.Offered below is a preview of a new design from the Vans Vault campaign for Spring/Summer 2010. Dubbed the Buffalo Boot LX, the kicks design is inspired by a combination of classic Vans styles, including the Half Cab and Mountain Edition. Two colorways are shown, which can be expected as March/April 2010 releases.
In celebration of what is the brand’s 27th annual Triple Crown of Surfing event- which kicks off this November at Hawaii’s North Shore- Vans has teamed up with world renowned artist Taka Hayashi to come up with the pair of Authentic’s we’re showing you here. Drawing inspiration from the Hawaiian venue, this pair of sneakers comes in a black canvas upper that consists also of a reef-like pattern. The water is represented on the bottom of the shoe, which comes in all-blue; and inside the shoe there is an orange and white pattern with the words “Vans Triple Crown of Surfing Hawaii” spelled out. A predominantly white sole with orange label on the heel and complementary second pair of laces in orange tops this very sleek collaborative sneaker design. Check with your local Vans retailers as these have started to become available online.
Vans now bring you another sneaker from the pack, which turns out is officially named the California pack. Here we see a red colourway with a wool upper. Look for these to release in the coming weeks, as they are part of the Vans Holiday line up. These are hot def a holiday pick up.

Home town San Francisco-based retailer/brand works up three two-tone colorways, all constructed of canvas with grain leather heelcups. Black, Navy, and Cardinal Red options will be available exclusively through HUF San Francisco and HUF Los Angeles next Saturday, October 17th, 2009. Retail will be set at a reasonable $85 USD.

Our friends over at Supreme hit us the upcoming Supreme and Vans collaboration. Yields the following Half-Cab style. Revolving around an iconic piece of Vans imagery, the small-intricate checkerboard pattern makes up the entirety of the Half-Cab’s upper with a red-liner. Stay tuned for more details on an official release.
Vans got together with master of lowbrow art, Robert Williams who’s notable works are for Guns N Roses, Thrasher Magazine and known for founding the art/culture magazine Juxtapoz. The red and white checker pattern on the side panel makes the base on which Williams’ illustration is layered on top. Toe box section and heel strip is made out of black suede to contrast the wild graphics. Packaged in custom box that also feature his signature and artwork matching the sneaker.
