We’re not usually big on Jordan Fusions, but news leading up to Memorial Day weekend is slower than usual. Plus, the inspiration on this one is right in line with the holiday. “It’s a solid summer color blocking, reminding me of an after-hours beach bonfire. The upper is mostly sandy with hits of orange on the laces and classic AJ 8 midsole swirl. Think of the smoke and flames peaking up through the dunes on a summer night.” Drops June 10, 2010 at House of Hoops.
The fusion series continues as Jordan Brand unveils this quickstrike version of its Fusion 8. The kicks take on a “Firepit” aesthetic, featuring a sandy-esque upper with red and orange highlights throughout, reminiscent of a beach bonfire. They look to drop Thursday, June 10th, exclusively through Footlocker House of Hoops locations.
REST IN PEACE
Just yesterday we showed you the result of Nike paying some more attention specifically to the women when it comes to the increasingly popular Nike Air Max 24-7. After decorating that running shoe with “violet pop,” Nike has decided to drape this women’s Nike Dunk high pictured here in pink. You can’t really go wrong with pink and women, but the brand also threw in silver accents that reach from the entire Nike swoosh to the heel. These have begun hitting Nike shelves already, and should be headed to your local Nike retailer(s) if not there already.

After giving you a look at the Zebra Pack from the upcoming Christian Louboutin Fall/Winter 2010 Footwear Collection, we can already now give you a more extensive look at line. While the entire industry seems to be moving towards simplicity in recent seasons, the French designer is not shy of using exotic leathers, horse hair, zebra patterns and of course a lot of studs.
